In 2013, the École des Arts et Spectacles de l’Opéra National de Paris asked for their identity to be reworked. This meant of course working on its appearance, yet also making sure that it remained recognisable, with the heritage characteristic that the Opéra de Paris adheres to. Royalties worked on the angle of a school rooted in tradition, to which its history and knowledge history gives legitimacy, and also ensured that the colours and typography of the Opera were respected. However, this legendary and sophisticated school is neither outdated nor reactionary. This is why the new identity introduces a more flexible design, evoking the vigorous yet perceptive teaching.
