In 2009, Inwi, formerly Wana, the 3rd biggest mobile operator of Morocco wanted to reposition themselves after a number of commercial and technical setbacks. The operator wanted to both modernise and strengthen their brand. For this, Royalties created a new international brand, which preserved the positive history of the former brand Wana. Inwi was created, with the spirit of a challenger and the capacity of a market leader. The name is strong and positive and means courage or strong will in Moroccan, whilst the colour mauve stands out and brings the brand into the 21st century. Having a positive experience is at the heart of the strategy: the client is put first and provided with teams who have practical and wide reaching consumer tools. In 2015, Inwi was given was given the brand of the year award in Morocco.
